Language profiles

One of my regular features is the Friday’s Featured Language project, where native speakers get to share their language with us with an audio clip and short text.  You can always tune in on Fridays to hear from the latest speaker, or click on the category Real Language Profile to see the features in chronological order.  But I’m hoping to develop a really rich library of languages from all over the world, so to help organize it, I will list them on this page in alphabetical order.  Have fun exploring!

Languages profiled so far:

Azerbaijani

Chinese

Danish

German

Hebrew

Indonesian

Irish

Italian

Japanese

Spanish
